David ready for a take
When you get a chance to fly fish for mahseer from the boat, don’t turn down the opportunity.
It is very visual as you’ll often be very close to the target, not something you’d experience wet wading in the rivers.
You could be casting just 30 to 40 feet (10-13 meters) to cruising or rising fish. But you need to be accurate and quick.
The take is often explosive and a violent tug of war ensues as the fish is often very near cover!
