See the sights and action of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and fly fishing for sailfish in Kuala Rompin through the eyes and lens of Jason Stratford.
We recently have Jason fish with us for six days, together with his fishing mates from Australia – Lyall and Barry.
These are all images shared by Jason. Many thanks to him for allowing us to post these fantastic shots of the going-ons and action.
I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did – Juan Wei

Great shots that captures the mood in the kitchen of the restaurant at the jetty. Many Malaysian (asian) restaurant kitchen looks similar.

My turn to have a look at the new book “Fly Fishing in small streams” by David Anderson. Some very nice photography in it, too.

Tough to be a baitfish. In this case, an anchovy as the sailfish hunt and push them to the surface and birds pick them off from above. A great shot where Jason manages to capture an anchovy out of the water.

Birds often gets attracted by our trolled teasers. Sometimes, a sailfish will be under the surface, too.

It’s intense when an angry sailfish chases down a teaser. And we certainly saw some big aggressive fish on a few occasions.
