Here are answers to Frequently Asked Questions about our fishing trip in Mongolia. Do contact us if you have any questions and cannot find an answer here.
- Accommodation are either basic wooden cabin or ger (yurt) camps depending on fishing location. First and final night will be in a hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
- Duration of trips are mostly 11 to 13 days
- Fishing days are between 6 to 7 1/2 days depending on location
- Fish target species are taimen, lenok trout, amur trout, grayling and pike.
- Flights into Mongolia are available from many major cities such as Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, etc
- Visa – please check entry visa requirements of your respective countries
- Food are local and fusion Mongolian food cooked on site, except for first and last day in the city where meals will be had in restaurants.
- Group size: Minimum to go is one person. Maximum in a group is six people.
- Language is not an issue as our main guides can communicate in English. We also have interpreters for other languages.
- Season: June to October (summer to fall)
- Sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar is included if there is time in between flights on the first and last day in the city.
- Toilet and bathroom at fishing site are either basic huts or in shower tents.
- Transportation between city and fishing spots will be in large four-wheel drive vehicles such as Toyota Land Cruisers
