The Fly-fishing Association of Selangor (FFAS) officially incorporated on 10 March 2016 is the first fly-fishing association registered with the Registrar of Societies Malaysia. We had our inaugural committee meeting recently and had full attendance.
It is the first and only fly fishing association in Malaysia and probably the Southeast Asia region.
The first-round of committee is made up of:
President: Dron Lee – CCI and renown fly tier, fly tying nation
Vice President: David Samuel – seasoned fly fisher and CCI
Hon. Secretary: Tony Wee – CCI and respected angler
Secretary: Juan Wei
Treasurer: CK Ling – Malaysia and region’s only MCI
Committee: Nik Rahimi – CCI and owner/operator of EAK fly-fishing center, Nick Ooi – CCI and owner of Tacklebox Adventures, Sek – CCI, Eddie Lim-CCI
